Pick a Tree From Queens Farm for Your Queens Home
A short drive from your Queens home can introduce you to the magic of the season as you explore Queens Country Farm and Museum. Offering a host of activities in December to distract you and your family from your everyday cares, the farm is definitely a worthwhile trip! Offering all styles and sizes of Christmas trees, poinsettias, other holiday flowers and evergreen wreaths for sale, you can even bring your holiday cheer back to your Queens home. If you prefer to make a wreath instead, classes on wreath making are being offered as well, on Sunday, December 2nd at 10 a.m., 12 and 2 p.m. for $20.
This year’s Annual Queens Farm Open House will be held over a three day period from Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th, from 12 to 4 p.m. At this free, festive event you will be able to tour the decorated farmhouse and children can create crafts while enjoying mulled cider, making it a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year. If you can’t make it out to the farm for the Open House, tours are provided on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the farm is open daily for outdoor visiting from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Find out more by clicking here or by calling 718.347.3276.
